Prayers Of Agreement (Corporate Prayer)

On the one hand, there will be your own life of personal prayer that you will develop with the Lord. On the other hand, you will associate yourself with some of the most powerful and best prayer warriors you can find, so that you may be ready, if God calls you to approach him with this prayer of concord. But praying with others doesn`t just teach us about prayer. We also learn theology, conversion and righteous desires of the prayers of others when we gather before our Lord. Indeed, prayer in common leads us throughout the life of faith. It is a question of being in perfect harmony with the theme of the request and the Word of God with regard to this theme of the center of the request for prayer and not fully agreeing, because these are other personal things, points of view, feelings and opinions. That is what I believe the author of this article meant, and that is biblically correct. This next secret of prayer tells us that if two or three faithful can unite in their prayers with the Lord, God, the Father, will move to answer prayer. Corporate Prayer – Is it more powerful? Are corporate prayers more powerful than private prayers? The Bible does not show that they are. Perhaps the misunderstanding that some Christians have about the increased power of corporate prayer is due to Matthew 18:19-20: “Again, I tell you, if two of you on earth agree on everything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father who is in heaven. Because where two or three people meet on my behalf, I`m with them. It is important to read these verses in the context of the passage. The context addresses the ecclesiastical discipline of a sinful member. If Christians think that these verses give them an “empty cheque” to be able to ask for anything from God, it is a profound error in interpreting the passage.

Just because two or three people are gathered in the name of Jesus does not mean that they acquire a magical force that makes God sure to respond to their prayer according to their desires. Yes, Jesus is present when people pray together, but he is also present when a believer prays individually. In corporate prayer, it is not a question of gathering enough people to pray until God bends his will to our will. Instead, prayer (corporate and private) consists of collaborating with God and abandoning our desires and submitting ourselves to God`s will. Indeed, Matthew 6:8 says: “… Because your father knows what you need before you ask him. The last element of the powerful corporatist prayer is the rocking. The agreement is different from the focus. Here, everyone knows and agrees with what he asks of God. Often, when a community prays on a subject in a church, there is no consensus. We all have a different view of what to do. So when we pray, we often pray only our own agendas.

If Jesus himself will truly be in the midst of two or three faithful who pray in agreement and in accordance with God the Father, it means that Jesus hears his prayer loud and clear. And if Jesus hears his prayer loud and clear, these two or three faithful will have a very good chance of making their prayers heard by God the Father. But corporate prayer is a valuable work for all in the Church of Christ. Children`s Hosannas are no less precious to Christ than the eloquent praises of adults (Matthew 21:15-16) and, to quote John Owen, “the prayers of the wickedest saints may be useful to the greatest apostle.” 1. The reason why this type of prayer is called the prayer of concordance is due to the specific wording used by the Lord. Note in the first sentence that if two people “ON Earth on everything they ask to ARRANGER.” If you read the Old Testament, you have these great meetings of the People of God and Josaphat, Solomon and David pray.
